Dr Simmy Kaur

MBChB BSc MRCGP

Founder & General Practitioner

“To care for someone well,” she says, “you have to see their whole life. Their health, yes – but also their pace, their pressures, their priorities. It’s a privilege to be part of someone’s world in that way.”

Dr Simmy Kaur is the founder of The Nine Clinic. She is an experienced, award-winning GP with a modern approach to medicine, informed by decades of clinical insight and an enduring belief in the power of personal care. With established clinics on Harley Street and in Battersea & Nine Elms, Dr Kaur is known not only for her clinical knowledge but for the clarity, presence and sincerity she brings to every patient interaction.

After qualifying in medicine at the prestigious University of Liverpool, Dr Kaur trained across several leading London teaching hospitals, gaining invaluable experience in diverse areas of patient care. She completed her GP training at the renowned Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead and went on to practise in some of London’s most sought-after neighbourhoods – including Marylebone, Primrose Hill and Hampstead – giving her a uniquely informed perspective on the healthcare needs of local residents as well as international visitors.

Dr Kaur’s areas of clinical interest are wide-ranging, encompassing women’s and men’s health, preventative medicine, paediatrics, acute care, mental wellbeing and nutrition. She’s particularly drawn to the subtle but vital connections between physical health, emotional balance and daily lifestyle. Her approach is both comprehensive, holistic and intuitive – recognising that no two people are the same.

For patients looking to find a GP who truly listens and builds a relationship beyond the consultation, Dr Kaur offers a rare combination: deep medical expertise coupled with genuine compassion and empathy. She’s also a trusted voice in the media, frequently contributing her perspective to health-focused discussions and brand collaborations.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Kaur is as committed to wellness in her own life, as she is in her professional life. She is an advocate for daily practices that support inner clarity – to include exercise, mindfulness and time outdoors. She is a devoted patron of the Serpentine Gallery and a lover of contemporary art, where she supports emerging and established creatives alike.

Dr Joseph Dangoor is known for his comprehensive, composed style of care – one rooted in academic excellence, nuanced clinical knowledge and a deep regard for the individual. With over a decade of experience spanning hospital and community settings, his practice balances exacting medical standards with a quiet attentiveness that builds trust and invites conversation.

As a graduate of University College London Medical School, Dr Dangoor co-founded the university’s Medical Society – an early sign of his commitment to advancing his own career while contributing to the medical community around him. He went on to complete his postgraduate and GP training in North and Central London, including at the prestigious Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.

Dr Dangoor’s breadth of experience includes clinical work in general surgery, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat, and palliative care – giving him a rare versatility in both acute and long-term care. Over the years, he has cultivated a particular interest in mental health, practical procedures and the subtle dimensions of wellbeing that often lie beneath the surface of physical symptoms.

Beyond medicine, Dr Dangoor’s passions reflect a love for contemporary art and architectural history. He is a regular at the Serpentine Gallery and the Royal Academy of Arts. His love for history has also led him to serve as a trustee of the St Marylebone Society, while remaining actively engaged with the Georgian Group and the Victorian Society – communities that celebrate the city’s heritage and craftsmanship. He is also an avid enthusiast of classical music and the outdoors.

“I want my patients to feel informed and in control of their health. When people understand what’s going on, they feel better — and they make better choices. That’s what good medicine should do.”
